4 July

There's likely to be a comedy in 2025 that embodies unprecedented boldness. It indeed appears to be so.

Superman

11 July

There's no getting around it - Superman is back on the big screen in James Gunn's revamped DC Universe. This movie is touted as a genuine, sincere take on the iconic character, much like the classic Christopher Reeves movies. In contrast to the dark tone of the Zack Snyder era, the first trailer looks promising. David Corenswet takes on the role of Man of Steel, facing off against a new, updated Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult) and developing feelings for a new Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan). He's also joined by a diverse array of other superheroes, which might overcomplicate the universe building. On the other hand, Krypto the Superdog is making an appearance, and he's already won our hearts, yes he has, indeed he has.

"The Fantastic Four: First Steps" follows Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's first appearance together on "Fantastic Four's" October 1961.

25 July

In 2015, will this new edition, starring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, finally break the curse that has befallen the FF?

There is no release date announced yet, but it is likely the film will be showcased at the Cannes event in May.

Untitled Paul Thomas Anderson Film

TBA (Cannes?)

This project is inspired by Thomas Pynchon's postmodern novel, "Vineland". The film will feature Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Regina Hall, Benicio del Toro, and Alana Haim. Given Anderson's impressive adaptation of Pynchon's "Inherent Vice", we are very optimistic. A release date of August 8th has supposedly been scheduled. It's not too much to wish that the Cannes Film Festival will be selective.

Franz

TBA (Venice?)

An exploration will be conducted into the life and posthumous influence of Kafka, focusing on his experiences and stature in his native Prague and globally.

After The Hunt

TBA (Venice?)

As being “timely” and relevant to the current era. Starring Julia Roberts, Michael Stuhlbarg, Andrew Garfield and Ayo Edebiri, and featuring an additional soundtrack from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, we eagerly anticipate this release. The film is currently completed, providing an opportunity for an early release. However, the dates for its potential screening at festivals such as Cannes are uncertain. If not available for Cannes, a screening at Venice would be preferable.

Bugonia
